Biography

At Cheema Law Practice, Attorney Ayesha Cheema is committed to providing personalized and effective legal services in family immigration, security clearance matters, and other general legal questions. As a bilingual attorney and member of the D.C. Bar since 2019, she is dedicated to guiding clients through complex legal challenges with clarity and compassion.

Before founding Cheema Law Practice, Attorney Cheema worked with a D.C.-based non-profit, assisting with compliance policies, and gained experience at several government agencies, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Treasury. Her background provides valuable insight into navigating both governmental and legal processes effectively.

In addition to her private practice, Attorney Cheema devotes time to representing low-income clients in domestic violence cases at the D.C. Superior Court, advocating for civil protective orders and financial relief. Her pro bono work reflects a deep commitment to justice and ensuring access to legal representation for those in need.

Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, with a basic understanding of Spanish and Arabic, Attorney Cheema is able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients, ensuring they receive the support and representation they deserve.
